COVID 19 (Coronavirus) Update
The healthcare landscape in South Florida is evolving quickly and like you, we are taking important steps to ensure we maintain the health and safety of our staff and communities.
At Radiology Associates of South Florida and Miami Vascular Specialists, the health of our patients, employees, and communities is our top priority. In addition to monitoring guidance from local, national and global health organizations, we are taking precautionary measures to ensure that our practices minimize risk, including:
Maintain the highest level of cleanliness
We have always maintained the highest standards of cleanliness and know that this is now more important than ever. In addition to our regular daily cleanings, we have completed site-wide disinfectant efforts with EPA-approved germicides and will continue to do so until the virus is contained. We have updated our already stringent hand-washing policy to enhance precautions and reduce any chance the virus has to spread.
Communicating with our staff and communities
We are dedicated to ensuring our staff and patients stay up to date on the constantly evolving nature of this situation. All employees are receiving formal updates on a daily basis with the most current information available so they may effectively communicate with our patients.
Screening all patients
In order to protect the health and safety of our patients and communities, our practices are utilizing point-of-entry screening. Everyone will be asked a few simple questions and we will take your temperature with a touch-free thermometer to quickly assess your risk for COVID-19.
We appreciate your understanding that, as a patient, your experience may look a little different as we navigate through this together.
We are privileged to serve each of our patients and their communities.
