Founded in 1960, the Radiology Associates of South Florida (RASF) is the 10th largest private practice group in the United States. RASF has over 65 subspecialized physicians, including the world-famous interventional radiologists at Baptist Cardiac and Vascular Institute, headed by pioneer Dr. Barry Katzen. RASF provides radiological services for Baptist Health South Florida, the largest health care organization in Miami-Dade, including 7 hospitals and 13 outpatient centers. We are on clinical faculty as the department of radiology for the FIU Wertheim School of Medicine.

Nationally and internationally recognized, many of our physicians give lectures throughout the world, and serve or hold leadership positions in national societies such as the American College of Radiology, American Board of Radiology, American Heart Association, Society of Cardiovascular CT, Society of Interventional Radiology, Society of Nuclear Medicine, Society of Neuro-Interventional Surgery and others.

The executive council of RASF includes the president and CEO, Dr. Ricardo Cury (cardiac imaging) and vice-president Dr. James Benenati (interventional radiology).

We welcome requests for comments from the media or academic organizations. We are able to comment on radiological tests and procedures, vascular surgical and endovascular procedures, and on the delivery of health care in large integrated health care systems. Email requests are turned around very quickly. Please direct all questions and correspondence to our corporate office:
