Dr. Labat completed his medical degree, Magna cum laude, at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Upon finishing a transitional year at San Juan City Hospital, he completed a diagnostic radiology residency where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Labat completed his Neuroradiology fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis (Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology). Dr. Labat continued his career and gained multiple honors including teacher of the year awards in 2011-2012, 2017-2018, 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years along with Doctor’s choice awards in Neuroradiology chosen by his peers in 2015 – 2019, 2021 and 2022. He joins RASF with over 13 years’ experience in Radiology. In his free time, Dr. Labat loves playing soccer and beach tennis. He enjoys scuba diving, underwater photography and traveling with his family.
