Dr. Foremny joins RASF from Cornell’s Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City as a board-certified radiologist, dual fellowship trained in both musculoskeletal imaging and image guided intervention. He then completed a second fellowship at The McGinley Clinic, becoming one of the country’s first interventional orthopedics fellows. During this fellowship, Dr. Foremny refined his skills in microinvasive image guided intervention, specializing in ultrasound guided microinvasive carpal tunnel release and trigger finger release, as well as image guided therapies for sports injuries and arthritis.
Dr. Foremny is a Miami native who graduated from The University of Florida where he performed laboratory research in the Enneking-Anspach Orthopedic Research Center, studying novel therapies for arthritis and bone tumors. He obtained his master’s degree in Biophysics and Physiology at Georgetown University followed by medical school at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine where he graduated with academic honors. He completed his radiology residency at the University of Miami where he also completed a mini fellowship in Body Imaging.
Dr. Foremny has published numerous abstracts and journal articles in the field of orthopedics and orthopedic imaging. He has a special interest in ultrasound guided microinvasive procedures and sports imaging with an emphasis on MRI and diagnostic ultrasound.
