Dr. Teitelbaum is experienced in the combined use of ultrasound and fluoroscopy for imaging of the urinary and gastrointestinal tracts, and uses these modalities daily in his practice with infants and young children. Philip has a particular interest in combined congenital abnormalities, and has extensive experience in fetal MR imaging to help solve complex prenatal diagnostic issues. He serves the busy Neonatal Intensive Care Units at Baptist Hospital Miami and South Miami Hospital, and provides radiologic interpretations for pediatric patients across multiple Baptist Health ERs and urgent care sites.
Dr. Teitelbaum is pleased to extend his clinical experience to adults served by Baptist Health South Florida, where he focuses on CT scan and fluoroscopy. In adults, Philip has a particular interest in the imaging of the pre- and post-operative gastrointestinal tract, including bariatric, oncology, and IBD patients.
Dr. Teitelbaum has taught medical students, radiologic technologists, and other physicians throughout his career. He has lectured on a wide range of topics, including congenital orthopedic anomalies, neonatal bowel obstruction, pediatric thoracic anomalies, imaging guidelines in clinical pediatrics, fetal MRI, and topics relating to radiation dose and contrast media. Philip serves on the BHM Radiology Departmental Advisory Committee, the RASF Quality Committee, and the Fluoroscopy Advisory Committee for the Society for Pediatric Radiology.
