Dr. Maria Iparraguirre is a member of the Radiology Associates of South Florida and serves as a staff radiologist for Baptist Hospital of Miami, South Miami Hospital, Homestead Hospital, West Kendall Baptist Hospital and Baptist Outpatient Centers. Dr. Iparraguirre has also served as a research consultant for Cordis Research Corporation Dr. Iparraguirre is also actively on staff at the Miami Cancer Institute Breast Center. 

Dr. Maria Iparraguirre has presented at several national meetings, including study results concerning ultrasound imaging of the distal ureter and imaging of intra- and extra-abdominal desmoid tumors. Dr. Iparraguirre has also lectured on breast ultrasounds and sonohysterography review and applications. She is currently the radiology representative member on the OB/GYN Department Advisory Committee. 

Dr. Iparraguirre earned an undergraduate degree and an M.D. from the University of Miami. She completed an internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in medical technology, a residency at Jackson Memorial School in diagnostic radiology, and a fellowship in body imaging at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She has also specializes in Ultrasound Imaging as well as Breast Imaging and Intervention with over 20 years’ experience. Her mission statement includes excellent medical care and diagnosis along with patient communication and compassion.
