Prasuna Inampudi, MD

A partner of the Radiology Associates of South Florida, Dr. Inampudi is an attending at Baptist Hospital of Miami, South Miami Hospital, Homestead Hospital, and the Baptist Outpatient Centers.
Dr. Inampudi has published study results on the sonographic characteristics of peripheral nerve sheath tumors, on accuracy of sonography in diagnosis of soft tissue lipomas, on optimization of multi-detector row CT urography technique, and regarding CT urography of upper tract uroepithelial malignancy. She has presented nationally and internationally on a number of occasions, including works on soft tissue contrast extravasations and the effect of compression, saline administration, and prolonging acquisition delay on images obtained during MDCTU. Dr. Inampudi has received multiple awards, including honors in internal medicine, primary care, pediatrics, interventional radiology, and subinternship clerkships; excellence in teaching awards; best scientific paper award; and Alpha Omega Alpha award.
Dr. Inampudi received an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and an M.D. at Northwestern University Medical School as part of the accelerated honors program in medical education. She completed an internship in preliminary medicine at Northwestern University and a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Michigan Health Systems, at which time she served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in cross-sectional imaging at the University of Michigan.
