Govindarajan Narayanan, M.D., is a diagnostic and interventional radiologist at Baptist Health South Florida, where he also serves as chief of interventional oncology. Dr. Narayanan specializes in interventional oncology. He is fluent in English and Tamil.
Prior to joining Baptist Health South Florida in 2018, Dr. Narayanan served as the Founding Chairman of the first Department of Interventional Radiology at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Narayanan’s research interests include pancreatic, liver and colon cancer. His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications, including Cancer, the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, and CardioVascular and Interventional Radiology. He serves as an editor and reviewer for several medical journals, has written several textbook chapters, and has spoken at national and international scientific meetings.
