Marc Hamet, MD

Dr. Marc Hamet has recently joined the Naples, Florida division of Radiology Associates of South Florida on February 1, 2022. He is a board certified Diagnostic Radiologist with Certificates of Added Qualification in both Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology.Dr. Hamet grew up in Baltimore, MD, and attended University of Maryland for Medical School, Residency, and Neuroradiology fellowship. He did his Vascular/Interventional Radiology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins. In addition, Dr. Hamet holds an MBA from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

His work experience has included Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT, and White Plains Hospital in White Plains, NY, during which time he was chosen as a Castle-Connolly “Top Doc” for the New York Metropolitan area every year since 2002. He is adept at the full gamut of interventional radiology procedures including uterine fibroid embolization and TIPS procedures. He was one of the first radiologists in the country to perform vertebroplasty, carotid stenting, trans-esophageal gastrostomy, and laser venous ablation.In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, traveling and all of the amenities Southern Florida has to offer!
